Bibi Ka Maqbara is Mausoleum of Aurangazeb’s wife Rabia-ul-Daurani alias Dilras Banu Begum, constructed by Prince Azam Shah in memory of his mother between 1651 and 1661 A.D. Bibi ka Maqbara is situated in the Aurangabad city of Maharashtra India State. Bibi ka Maqbara reflects the glimpse of Taj Mahal the mausoleum of Aurangzeb's mother, Mumtaz Mahal. Due to strong reflection of Taj Mahal’s appearance it is called the Dakkhani Taj means Taj of Deccan. An inscription found on the main entrance door mentions that this mausoleum was designed and erected by Ata-ullah, an architect and Hanspat Rai, an engineer respectively. Ata-ullah was the son of Ustad Ahmad Lahauri, the principal designer of the Taj Mahal.
The mausoleum is laid out in a Charbagh formal garden. The mausoleum was built on a high square platform with four minarets at its corners, approached by steps from the three sides. This structure is covered with a dome embellished with trellis works and panels with flowery designs.
