Cochin is also known as Kochi it is one of the major port cities on the south-west coast of India by the the Arabian Sea. Kochi also known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea, it was an important spice trading centre on the west coast of India from the 14th century onwards. The tourist attractions in city are Fort, several historical monuments, museums, amusement Parks, Palaces, etc. It along with these destinations houses natural attractions like the Vembanad Lake and the backwaters visited by large number of tourists to the city.
