ISKCON Temple in Bangalore, Karnataka

Sri Radha Krishna Temple of Bengalore is one of the largest ISKCON temples in the world. The temple is dedicated to Lord Radha and Krishna aimed to propagate Krishna all over the World. Temple is situated on the Hare Krishna Hillock at Rajajinagar of Bengalore city of Karnataka State of India. Temple is spread over the large land and huge complex constructed by Shankar Dayal Sharma in 1997. The project was conceived and executed by Madhu Pandit Dasa following the wishes of HDG A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder-Acarya of ISKCON to promote Vedic culture and spiritual learning.

Sri Radha Krishna Temple has six shrines within its boundaries, these are Shrines of Radha-Krishna, Krishna Balrama, Nitai Gauranga, Srinivasa Govinda, Prahlada Narasimha and Srila Prabhupada. Temple has a gold-plated dhwaja-stambha 17 m of high and a gold plated kalash shikara 8.5 m of high. Temple timings are 4:15 am to 5:00 am, 7:15 am to 1 pm and 4:15 pm to 8:15 pm. During weekdays Temple timings are 4:15 am to 5:00 am and 7:00 am to 8:30 pm. Devotees from different parts of India and the world had initiated activities of ISKCON in different parts of South India like Bangalore, Hubli, Madras, etc.
