Jaswant Thada monument is located in Jodhpur of Rajasthan. It was built in 1899 by Maharaja Sardar Singh in memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Jaswant Thada is an epitome of brilliant architecture of extremely thin and polished marble sheets aesthetically carved by artisans. These sheets emit warm glow when sunrays touch its surface.
Jaswant Thada features fantastically carved pavilion, a garden and a small lovely Lake. There are other three cenotaphs in the ground. The cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh displays the portraits of the rulers and Maharajas of Jodhpur.
