Tourist Attractions in Mahabalipuram

Mahabalipuram is very well-known for excellently carved temples and Rock cut caves. Temples of Mahabalipuram, portraying events described in the Mahabharata, Five Rathas provides a tranquil atmosphere named after the Pancha Pandavas. These are intricately carved out from a Single, long stone of Pink granite. Another Shore Temple located on the shores of Bay of Bengal are also famous, offers beautiful white sand beaches and Crocodile Bank featuring some unique species of crocodiles and alligators.
