Mehrangarh Fort is a palatial Fort one of the largest forts in Rajashtan, standing hundred feet high on rocky hill. Mehrangarh Fort of Jodhpur was built in 1459 by Rao Jodha and best preserved Fort in India. Whole mansion is built up of red sand stone and showcases great intricate artwork of Jodhpuri Sculptors.

Seven gates are crossed to reach the Fort, it transport one to the by gone era where battles of Life and dead was taken place, the ancient history and legendary stories of Royal family. The fort serves gracious large courtyards, Moti Mahal, the Sringar Chowki, wonderful galleries, temples, sprawling garden etc.

Mehrangarh Fort has Museum with wide collection of old Royal things like arms, costumes, paintings, period rooms and everything that indulge you in Royal Living of Old world. Mehrangarh is well-known famous tourist attraction place and opens its gate from 9 am to 5:30pm.
