Ranthambore Fort lies within the boundaries of Ranthambore National Park in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan. The Fort is famous for the glory of Hammir dev of the Chauhan dynasty. Ranthambore Fort was built by a Chauhan Rajput ruler in the mid of 10th century and surrounded with the forest. Fort complex has many Palaces inside its territory but only few are survived such as Badal Mahal and Hammirs court which transport you to the old Royal days.
Ranthambore Fort has three Hindu Temples dedicated to Lord Ganesh, Lord Shiva and Lord Ramji. It has two Jain Temples dedicated to Lord Sumatinath and Sambhavnath.
