Cenotaphs or Chhatris of Orchha are memorials of the rulers of the Bundels and are laid down in a row of 14 along the beautiful banks of the Betwa River. It reflects a wonderful sight and tells distinctive stories which are embedded along with Chhatris. Bundela dynasty ruled over this region of Bundelkhand and their marks still can be traced in this region through this exquisite array of cenotaphs. The Chhatris of Orchha are the most melancholy ruins of the city in Madhya Pradesh.

This unusual sight is visited by various tourists. One can reach through nearest Airport of Gwalior or from the Jhansi Railway station. Orchha town is well connected from Road as frequent bus services are available from Jhansi, Tikamgarh & Chhatarpur.
