Mehtab Bagh is a Charbagh monument in Agra of Uttar Pradesh. It is located north of Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Mehtab Bagh is square shape Garden with dimensions 300 by 300 meters and aligned with Taj Mahal opposite bank. Garden was built by Emperor Babur, it features white plaster walkways, airy pavilions, pools, fountains and fruit trees. Mehtab Bagh is one of the eleven similar Gardens built by Mughals and it is said to be an ideal location to view Taj Mahal. It created as moonlit pleasure garden viewing Taj Mahal and hence named Mehtab Bagh.
