This tour package of 18 days is planned for visit of the most beautiful tourist destinations of North India. During these 18 days you will admire the beauty of the Taj Mahal, the beautiful valley of Kashmir and artistic mountains of the Ladakh region. During your trip you can also avail various adventure activities available at the mountains of the Himalayas like trekking, rafting, mountaineering etc. You will visit some Buddhist monastaries situated far away from the modern world in the lap of the Himalayas where age old traditions of life and religion are still practiced. On arrival at the International Delhi airport, you will be greeted by our representative of La Alliance Travel with traditional hospitality. On arrival you will be transfer to your booked hotel. Here your 18 days Ladakh journey begins with a pleasant stay in Delhi. In order to approach the life and culture of medieval India, start your tour and can choose from the selection of those monuments you want to visit (depending on the time you will have in day): -The Red Fort, Independence symbol of India. Humayun Tomb -the first garden-tomb and the first great red sandstone monument on the Indian sub-continent. Evening time for leisure. Spend overnight at your hotel in New Delhi.
Early morning drive to Agra. Visit the Taj Mahal (The most beautiful monument of love) and other historical monuments of Agra. You will also visit the traditional Bazaars. In the afternoon drive to Delhi. Overnight in New Delhi.
Early morning, flight to Srinagar. Welcome you at Srinagar airport and transfer to your Deluxe Houseboat. Srinagar is located in the heart of the Kashmir valley at an altitude of 1,730 m above sea level. Free time to rest. The afternoon enjoy a Shikara ride on the lake to visit the floating gardens, lotus gardens, Kaboter Khana (Palais Pigeon) and various corners of the lake. Enjoy your Dinner & pleasant stay on your Deluxe Houseboat.
Early morning after breakfast take tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure), the Chashmashahi (Royal Spring) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). After this tour of the old town in the afternoon including important historical places like the Jamia mosque, the Hazratbal Mosque, Shrine of Dastageer Sahib, the sacred place of Shah-i-Hamdan. Later return to your Houseboat / Hotel for the night.
After a nice breakfast, departure for Gulmarg, one of the most beautiful winter and summer resorts in the valley. Later on arrive begin a tour, boarding the Gondola cable car ride to admire the beautiful scenery, whatever the season. As an opportunity to ride ponies in fields and on some lakes remain frozen until June Later return to Srinagar for overnight aboard your Deluxe Houseboat / Hotel.
Early in the morning leave for Pahalgam, one of the most beautiful and fascinating to discover stations throughout the year. Pahalgam is known as vale of Kashmir. On the way visit Saffron fields. Enjoy the natural beauty of the valley. Located at the confluence of the Lidder river and surrounded by wooded mountains of pines and firs, Pahalgam is a heavenly place. Enjoy it for a ride pony between Shikargah & Baisaran. Evening drive down to Srinagar for night stay aboard your Houseboat / Hotel.
Morning, you drive out of Srinagar to reach Sonamarg. Sonmarg is absolutely true to its name, which means 'Meadow of Gold'. This place is famous for the splendor of its landscapes. The town has become famous for the many excursion option that it offers, mainly short walks and trek routes to nearby stunning areas along the mountains. It passes through the dense forests of pines and firs, then follows the river Sindh short or trout and other fish once abounded to finally arrive at a huge valley opening on a meadow. On arrival, check-in into your hotel. You can rent a pony ride up Thajiwas glacier, a major attraction during the summer. Sonamarg is the last stop on the road to Leh before leaving Kashmir. Overnight at hotel in Sonamarg.
Departure for Kargil in the morning. The road passes through the Zojila Pass, located at 3600 meters altitude. On arrival check in your booked hotel. Afternoon free to stroll in the local Markets of Kargil located 2 kms from the hotel. Later return to your hotel.
Early morning departure for Leh and drive by the road passes through the passes of Namkila (3600 meters) and Fotila (4000 meters). En route, visit Mulbek Chamba (the statue of the Buddha of the Future) and the Lamayuru monastery (the oldest monastery in Ladakh). After this visit, end of the road to Leh. Once there, check in hotel and overnight at the hotel.
After an early breakfast, the day started with sight seeing of the Indus Valley including visiting monasteries Shey, Thiksey, Hemis and school where "3 idiots" shoot done. Finally, after these visits, later return to the hotel for your dinner. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast in the morning, leave Leh and drive through 125 kms road that known to be the highest road in the world by motorcycle practicable. After passing the neck Khardongla to 5596mètres altitude, you will enter the Nubra Valley. Rest of the day is free to explore the Hunder and Diskit monasteries and enjoy beauty of sand dunes and snow. Possibility of a camel safari. Night at Deluxe Camp.
Morning after refreshing breakfast, visit the famous tourist attraction of Nubra Valley i.e. Samstalling monastery. Picnic on the banks of the river and back drive to Leh via the Khardongla collar. Arrive Leh to 16 hours. Free evening. Overnight at hotel.
Morning after refreshing breakfast, Start off from Leh and leave for Pangong Tso Lake. You first arrive at Karu, an army camp located on the road between Leh and Manalian then pass by the Changla pass (5334m) and arrive at Tangtse. Evening time for relaxation. Spend night in Tangste near a camp in Lukung near the banks of Pangong lake. Pangong Lake, situated at 4,267 meters above sea level, is a long narrow pool of six to seven kilometers maximum width and length of 135km. About a third of the lake is Indian territory while the rest belongs to China. The Chinese border is just past the mountains bordering the lake. Spangmik, 7 km from the south shore of the lake, is the furthest point where foreigners are allowed. Fantastic view of the chain of mountains north Changchenmo and its reflection shimmering colors between green blue and green lake blue. Show breathtaking. Spangmik corresponds to the chain of snow-capped peaks and glaciers Pangong. Spangmik and other small villages scattered along the south shore of the lake are the summer homes of a small part of the population of Chang-pa, semi-nomadic herders in Tibet and southeastern Ladakh. Chang-pa Pangong cultivate rare plants and small peas in summer. In winter, they dismantle their camp and drive their flocks of sheep and goats in Pashmina distant pastures.
Morning after breakfast, leave Pangong Lake and drive to Leh (by the same route). Full day to explore around the Leh and walking through the Leh market. later in the evening back at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
After refreshing breakfast, the day begins with sightseeing tour of Leh. visiting the Stok Palace Museum. On the way back, visit Tibetan refugee camps in Choglamsar. In the afternoon, visit the king's palace, the mosque in Leh, the bazaar and Shankar Gompa Tsemo and offering a magnificent view of Leh. Overnight at hotel.
Early morning departure for the Alchi monastery, also known as Alchi Choskor. It is the only monastery in the plain of Ladakh which is 1000 years old monastery. On the road, visit Bazgo castle on the right bank of the Indus. In the afternoon after lunch at Alchi, visit Alchi monastery and discover the beauty of the adjacent village. Later back to Leh and overnight at the hotel.
Morning after breakfast, proceed to airport to catch your Delhi flight. On reaching, according to your day schedule, you can visit: the Qutub Minar, the tallest minaret in all India. -The Lotus Temple, open to all religions, its remarkable architecture represents a lotus flower. Overnight in New Delhi.
Transfer to the New Delhi airport according to the schedule for your flight. Your 18 day trip to Tajmahal, kashmir and Ladakh ends here.
