Pushkar most famous Temple is the Brahma Temple, one of the few such Temples in the world, close to the sacred Pushkar Lake. The Temple is dedicated to the Hindu creator- Lord Brahma and is most prominent pilgrimage site in India. The construction of temple was taken place in 14th century and elegantly done up with marble and stone. It is believed that it is 2000 years old temple. Brahma Temple has a Hans in the getaway with a red sapphire on its crown, holds central image of Brahma and his second wife Gayatri.
On Kartik Poornima a festival dedicated to Brahma and great grand fair is held where large number of people visits the Temple after taking bath in Holy Lake of Pushkar.
