Vrindavan garden or Brindavan garden is situated in the Mandya District of the Karnataka State. Virndavan Garden is close to the Krishnarajasagara dam which is built across the River Kaveri. Garden is spread on 60 acres of landscaping area, adjacent to it is fruit orchard spread across 75 acres and 2 horticultural farms, Nagavana and Chandravana. The foundation stone for garden was laid in 1927 and it was completed in 1932. The garden is laid out in 3 terraces which contain water fountains, Ficus trees, foliage plants such as Duranta plumaria and Euphorbia. It has flowering plant such as Celosia, Marigold and bougainvillea.
The main attraction of the Virndavan garden is the musical fountain which has bursts of water are synchronised to the music of songs. It also houses a lake within the garden with boating facilities available for visitors. Virndavan Garden is major destination of Tourists in Karnataka State as it is visited by around 2 million people every year.
