Arrival at Bangalore, the "garden city" of India then drive to Mysore. After resting, tour of Mysore. Visit the palace of the Maharaja built in 1911-12. The palace is a harmonious combination of Hindu and saraceniques architectural styles with magnificent arches, domes, turrets, colonnades and sculptures. Visit the art gallery. Drive to Chamundi hill to see the Chamundeshwari temple, from which one has a wonderful panoramic view of Mysore. On the return, you will be careful with the bull Nandi ... Overnight in Mysore.
Excursion to Somnathpur and Srirangapatna. Somnathpur - Dedicated to the god Shiva, this temple with fine sculptures and designed in the form of a star with three towers, is a perfect example of Hoysala architecture. The beautiful sculptures of gods, goddesses, and other scenes of religious narratives, as well as the remarkable ceiling decorated the hall with pillars, are breathtaking. Srirangapatna - Small island fortress of Tipu Sultan, formerly known as the "Tiger of Mysore ". Visit the Summer Palace, the Daulat Daria and its beautiful murals. Overnight at Mysore.
After breakfast, depart for Kabini River Lodge (2 hrs / 80 Kms). Located Karapur (Southern part of Nagarhole National Park), is the former hunting lodge of the Maharaja and Viceroy. This lodge is located on the banks of the Kabini River in order to observe the best birds in their natural habitat. An expert guide will help you identify the different varités of birds and wild animals. Registration on arrival and lunch. Taste at 15:45 and walk in the Nagarhole Nature Reserve in 16h. Back at camp and a film on wildlife to 19h. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
At 6:30, after drinking coffee or tea, oracle ride (local boat) and ride on elephant back (if available). Breakfast from the hotel and road to the nature reserve of Bandipur (3hrs / 80kms). Recording Tusker Trails on arrival and lunch. Safari in the reserve at around 16.00hrs. Overnight at hotel in Bandipur.
In the morning safari and breakfast until 09:30. Departure from the hotel and drive to Bangalore (5hrs / 220kms) to take your flight or train. Next schedule your flight, you can stay an extra night in Bangalore.
